Volunteer
As well as our salaried team of staff (many of whom still only work part time), Gloucestershire Young Carers still relies upon volunteers to help us in our work with young carers.

Here are a few suggestions on how volunteers can help our charity:
- Drive our young carers to and from their weekly groups Click here for more information on this
- Fundraise to keep the service running
- Offer administrative support to help us during marketing drives or research work
- Donate some of your own skill time e.g marketing, maintenance, design, training
- Spread the word about our services
- Present our charity to your local community group
- Help at some of the fundraising events already set to take place this year
- Give out our leaflets
- Shake a tin
- Talk to us about how you can help on away days or workshops
All volunteers need to undergo a CRB check, health assessments and provide two character references. Mileage allowance is paid.
